PROGRAM OVERVIEW
The Embryologist Certificate is IVF Academy’s flagship clinical laboratory course, providing intensive, hands-on training inside a functioning in vitro fertilization lab. Over two months, students develop the technical and analytical skills required to support modern embryology, from oocyte identification to culture systems, insemination techniques, and embryo assessment.
Participants progress through IVF workflow fundamentals, as well as advanced embryology modules, including genetic testing preparation, trophectoderm biopsy fundamentals, and comprehensive cryopreservation/vitrification. Graduates leave with the confidence, competence, and practical experience required to contribute meaningfully to any fertility laboratory team.

- 12 Credit Hours in Biology
- 6 Credit Hours in Chemical Sciences
- Chemistry I and Chemistry II are recommended
- 6 Credit Hours in Other Sciences [Any]

Do you accept international students?
We do accept qualified international students who have already secured a Visa. Unfortunately, we do not provide any support for student visas for international students. Additionally, international students are not eligible for the Deferred Tuition Repayment Option. WES-evaluated transcripts are required for all completed education abroad. Yes, we do offer job placement assistance for graduates of the Embryology Certificate program located in the United States. However, job placement is not guaranteed.
