- Description:
The Fertility Intensive Training (FIT) Program Part 2 is designed for healthcare professionals who wish to deepen their expertise in fertility patient care.
This advanced course provides emphasized practical and applied fertility management approaches to common patient scenarios, providing a deeper understanding of the complex diseases and conditions associated with fertility management.
- Program Goals:
- Gain in-depth knowledge of complications related to In Vitro Fertilization (IVF), including Ovarian Hyperstimulation Syndrome (OHSS) and low ovarian reserve.
- Understand the challenges and management strategies for patients with endometriosis and Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS).
- Understand the challenges and management strategies for Oncofertility patients
- Address the difficulties in IVF retrievals due to obesity and previous surgical sequelae.
- Explore the role of integrative reproductive medicine, such as acupuncture, in supporting fertility treatments.
- Learn about medical malpractice risk management and the impact of regulatory agencies on IVF care.
- Manage complex IVF protocols and understand the role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in IVF management.
- Build effective IVF teams by fostering collaboration between lab and clinical staff in creating comprehensive care plans.
- Assessment:
Students will be evaluated through a combination of theoretical exams, practical assessments, and participation in interactive discussions and case studies. There is a pretest and post-test validating acquisition of fertility knowledge.
- Learning Outcomes:
- Students will have a solid foundation in fertility diagnosis and treatment, with a strong emphasis on practical IVF care. Students will have attained advanced knowledge regarding the treatment of complications and highly specialized knowledge about the management of IVF protocols and treatment plans.
- This program aims to prepare students for a significant role as a member of the REI led IVF management team.
- Details:
- This two-day course takes place over two weekend days, on a Saturday and Sunday.
- The course consists for seven hours of didactics on day one and seven hours of virtual or in-person training on day two.
- The FIT program is associated with YSU University. CME/CEU credits available.FIT program participants will get a *Diploma upon successful completion of programs.
